Focus #1

Focus on Worship

The chief purpose of mankind is to glorify God by loving Him with your entire heart, soul, mind, and might. Matthew 22:37

All believing men, women, and children are to glorify God and thus fulfill the purpose of their existence. Worship glorifies God through adoration, praise, prayer, thanksgiving, and a complete yielding to Him. Worship declares His worth, pays Him homage, and celebrates Him in a life of devotion.

We seek to worship the Lord in spirit and in truth.

Focus #2

Focus on Knowledge

At the center of Christian faith and practice stands the belief that God has spoken to the world in the person and work of Jesus Christ, which is accurately and authoritatively revealed in the Bible.

The Bible is the inspired, inerrant and sufficient Word of God and is thus the ultimate authority for life, faith and morals. One of the most vital responsibilities of a church is the faithful and proper communication of God’s Word to all generations of believers.

2 Timothy 3:16-17,  2 Peter 1:20-21.

Focus #3

Focus on Service

Jesus gave Himself as a ransom for us, so we could become all He planned for us to be. Jesus served people rather than doing what was easiest or most convenient.

He was our example. Godly Service is produced in the hearts of believers, who’s lives have been transformed by God’s amazing grace. By following Jesus’ example, we recognize that greatness in the Kingdom of God means selfless and committed serve to God, our local body, and community. As we promote and encourage others, we grow and mature in Christ-likeness.

Focus #4

Focus on Fellowship

Fellowship is first and foremost a relationship, rather than just an activity.

In Acts 2:42 the early church was not merely devoting itself to activities, but to a relationship. Fellowship means we belong to each other in a relationship because we share together the common life and enabling grace of Jesus Christ.

Fellowship also incorporates the idea of an active partnership in the promotion of the gospel and the building up of believers. Finally, church fellowship is characterized by unity held together by the bond of love.

Philippians 2:1-4
